In this class we learn the Traditional Usui Reiki symbols (plus some extra symbols for Cancer healing) to take your healing experience to a degree where you are able to assist others. Event Overview: Reiki Level 1 is all about self-healing and serves as the foundation of Reiki practice. This workshop is specially designed for individuals who are currently experiencing cancer. Through learning the art of self-love and self-healing, you will open yourself to the infinite abundance that you are and become more self-aware of the energies around you. This awareness will empower you to call back your power and reclaim the wholeness that is your birthright.

During this workshop, you'll learn about the history of Reiki, how Reiki healing works, and essential techniques for your healing journey. The workshop will include printouts of the course material, and some students may find it helpful to reference the book "Essential Reiki" book by Diane Stein after the training.

How to Prepare for receiving Reiki Level 1:

There aren’t too many things to prepare before receiving Reiki level 1, but here are some recommendations to help balance your mind and body:

Hara is Chinese medicine for “core.” It’s where all your truth stems from in the mind and body. Using Hara you can go directly to the organs and help release blocked emotions while using Reiki. During this two-day workshop, you'll go beyond Reiki and learn how to read and assess the Hara. At the end of class, you will be able to understand where the client is holding their emotional pain and the energy from Reiki helps release it. 

The class will be from 12 pm. to 4 pm. on July 16th,, 2023.. Please bring your own yoga mat.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the HARA tells us a story of where an individual holds emotions in the body, presently. Using the HARA “Map,” we can “energetically” assess and palpate the areas in the HARA (tummy area) to help the individual release the emotions that may be held stagnant. The client typically reports a sense of deep relief after a Hara Assessment and Healing.. Christy believes in giving clients the empowerment to heal themselves, and this modality allows both practitioner and client to work together beautifully in a dance of self-healing.

EFT Intro Class

EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over 5,000 years, but without the invasiveness of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem — whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. — and voice positive affirmations.

This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmation works to clear the "short-circuit" — the emotional block — from your body's bioenergy system, thus restoring your mind and body's balance, which is essential for optimal health and the healing of physical disease.
